Joss Loader is a fully qualified journalist, who worked for a variety of regional titles, including the Evening Argus and as news editor for the Worthing and Shoreham Heralds. She currently works as a freelance journalist and PR consultant, and also teaches English as a Foreign Language.
Joss – who lives on Shoreham Beach with her teenage son and Archie the dog – has also worked locally for high-profile organisations and was PR manager for Shoreham Power Station during its construction. She's also worked for local government, the NHS, charities and is a former governor of Shoreham Beach Primary School.

Cllr Dave Collins was elected as Shoreham Beach Residents' Association's Independent councillor in 2018. He represents us on the Beach, alongside Cllr Joss Loader.
Dave is a civil engineer, by profession, and has extensive experience in architectural design, planing and project management. He has worked on a variety of projects, including schools, hospitals and residential schemes.
Dave is also Chairman of Shoreham Beach Neighbourhood Forum, which is responsible for producing the emerging Neighbourhood Plan.
He has lived on the Beach since 2003 with his wife Brenda. They have four grown-up children, eight grandchildren and own a rescue dog, Bobby the Westie.
