Ben serves alongside Joss as an independent councillor. He lives on the Beach with his wife, Chantal, and their two young daughters. Ben is a highways engineer by profession.
He said, "We moved to Shoreham Beach in 2004, however my wife's family have been resident on the Beach since just after the Second World War. I am very interested in architecture, planning and the built environment and am currently serving on Adur District Council's Planning Committee, work which I enjoy very much. I am also on the Street Scene Working Group.
"I enjoy working with local residents and want to make Shoreham Beach an even greater place for people to live and enjoy - firstly by maintaining the standards of service that residents have a right to expect and then by working to improve both services and the environment for everyone."
In his spare time, Ben is restoring a classic car.
